One page that exercises everything a theme has to carry, so you can judge the typesetting before you install. The body is set at 18px on a 720px measure, line-height 2.05, justified like a printed page.

Body text can carry emphasis, strength, ~~struck-through regret~~, marked passages, inline code, and links. Chinese, 日本語，and English share one family: IBM Plex Sans, subset per script and loaded only where a page needs it.

Planescape: Torment¹ asks one question from its first screen to its last. It is never answered outright — only lived through.

What can change the nature of a man? If there is anything I have learned in my travels across the Planes, it is that many things may change the nature of a man. Whether regret, or love, or revenge or fear — whatever you believe can change the nature of a man, can.

The closing verse of Planescape: Torment¹ — an English rendering of a Tang-dynasty poem by Li Shangyin², on parting, time, and the end of feeling.
